Interview: Photographer Marina Mandarina
Here at The Histographer, we're about networking with a variety of individuals from all over the world and we believe in giving exposure and inspiration through our platforms as much as possible. We seem to be getting the attention we want which is great for these photographers who collaborate with us. We like to call them partners because we view them as a team of such inspiring people.
How would you describe your vision/style of photography?
My vision as a photographer changes every day as it passes, and it depends on how i feel at the moment, But normally I do portraits because i love when people want to share their eyes to us, and make us feel that feeling that we can't feel normally walking in the streets. I love every style, But now I can say I have a proper style, I'm in that moment in my life that I want to try all kinds of styles. I hope to one day find mine! But for now, I'll keep on searching!
What is something that keeps you inspired and motivated?
To be honest, I was in like a two-year hiatus with taking pictures. My mind was totally blocked and I didn't even think about photography. After the two-year hiatus, I started to see work of a lot of photographers that amazed me and it increasingly motivated me, it was my salvation! There are amazing photographers out there and they just gave me the motivation I needed again! We should keep doing photography! There is nothing more beautiful and permanent...
What is your goal in photography?
You can't stop learning in this world, at this moment I don't really have goals in photography, i just want to be happy taking pictures and have fun! But I keep pushing myself to evolve in this world!
What are your biggest inspirations and why?
The inspiration is out there, you just have to go out and find it, but it will not always be there when you 'need it' , maybe one day you'll just wake up, you'll go out and will be right in front of you.
What is your favorite quote of all time?
"We ignore those who adore us, adore those who ignore us, hurt those who love us, and love those who hurt us."
